Cougars

This is a collaborative effort with The Michigan Wildlife Habitat Foundation and Dr. Pat Rusz from the MWHAF and Dr. Tom Gehring from CMU. My lab is working on trying to quantify the number and location of cougars in the upper and lower peninuslas of Michigan as well as movement patterns and homerange sizes using DNA collected from scat samples.

Current Students: Jennifer Gregory (CMU Graduate Student) and Mark Rusz (CMU Undergraduate)
