Syllabus
This class will be consist of an all day field trip on Saturdady March 31. If you miss the field
trip you will not be able to pass the course. Participation on the field trip counts for 50% of
your grade. The remainder of your grade will come from a final exam (multiple choice, fill in the
blank, calculations, and short answer) given during the last
hour of the last day of class. The exam is open notes.

Grading for the course follows a straight scale, although I reserve the right to drop the scale as I see fit.
A = 93 - 100%
A- = 90 - 92%
B+ = 87 - 89%
B = 83 - 86%
B- = 80 - 82%
C+ = 77 - 79%
C = 73 - 76%
C- = 70 - 72%
D+ = 67 - 69%
D = 63 - 66%
D- = 60 - 62%
F < 59%
