Extra credit
There will be a number of extra credit opportunities in both lecture and lab. These opportunities will be announced as they come up. You can get up to a maximum of 20 points. "In-lab" opportunities will be announced in your lab section.
Movies and Study Sessions
Attendance at scheduled study sessions will help you earn extra credit points. Movies will be shown at some of these sessions and a related question sheet will be provided to hand in. Look for announcements in class and on the announcement page on the web site for scheduled times. Normal time for this session is Fridays at 11:00 am.
Biology Department Seminars
Usually held on Thursdays at 4:00-5:00pm in BR 176. May run beyond 5:00, so if you need to leave right at 5:00 or you are late arriving, DO NOT GO! Be sure to turn off your cell phone. Only seminars I announce will be eligible for extra credit. Print, fill out the questionnaire by following the link below, and place the completed form in folder on the door of Room 130 for 1 extra credit point.
