The courses listed below are recommended first year courses for students interested in the graduate, Masters level programs in Physical Therapy (PT) and Physician Assistant (PA). Students should have a good high school background in Math, Biology, and Chemistry to begin this sequence. If your high school background is limited in these fields you may need to take additional courses to strengthen your foundation. This series of courses is designed to provide you with a foundation and introduction to the academic areas central to the PT and PA programs.

The choice of an undergraduate major is important and you should begin the process of choosing that major during the second semester of your freshman year. Only after you have selected your major should you contact your academic advisor in the department of the major you selected.

• Biology 101P (3) - Note: Do not take BIO 101N, BIO 101T, or BIO 105.
