In Class Writing Exercise

Using notes, textbook, the web, each other, and any other resource, write up to a one page essay detailing how CLORPT (climate, organic matter, relief, parent material, and time) affects soil formation.  For each factor include how one factor can interact with another factor (i.e. how climate impacts organic matter, how time influences organic matter).  

Your essay will be legible and free of grammatical errors.  The first draft is worth 10 points.  You will hand in this draft at the end of the period.  I will return this draft with comments; you will then act on these comments and type a second draft.
