LONG-TERM UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

The Department of Mathematics at Central Michigan University received National Science Foundation funding that provided research fellowships for up to two years to collaborate with mathematics faculty on undergraduate research.

PROGRAM:

Three students were selected for fellowships to conduct research beginning summer 2009, under the supervision of Professor En-Bing Lin. The students are expected to be involved in research throughout the following academic year with an option for renewal for a second summer and academic year. In addition there are 3 other students completing the second year.
