Environmental Studies Career Information

Demands for resources such as clean water, clean air, nutritious food, minerals, and energy are all increasing. To meet these demands, career opportunities for environmental professionals are increasing. To create and produce these resources without fouling the Earth further, and to clean up the problems we have already created, and to preserve the remaining wildlife and natural lands will require the expertise of scientists, engineers, and environmentally-conscious legislators, journalists, administrators, and businessmen for a long time to come. Job opportunites exist in corporate America, the government, the media, and environmental organizations, as well as for scientists, engineers, and enterpreneurs.
