Pre-Pharmacy Advising

Students wishing to pursue career in Pharmacy may complete requirements for admission to a college of pharmacy in two years at CMU. Since the requirements for admission vary considerably, each student should decide during the first year which school of pharmacy he/she wishes to attend for professional training.

If the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) is the preferred school, it may be necessary to transfer to U of M at the end of the freshman year to assure acceptance into the College of Pharmacy. Pre-pharmacy study for both Ferris State University and Wayne State University may be completed at CMU with reasonable assurance of acceptance directly into professional study.
