About STRC
The Science and Technology Residential College (STRC) is cosponsored by the Office of Residence Life and the College of Science and Technology. Students in the residential college share an interest in the sciences and technology, and benefit from learning and living together. The STRC places great emphasis on academic values for students serious about their field of study. We promote an atmosphere where student success is supported. There are no additional fees for participating in the STRC. Students are expected to sign and abide by a behavioral agreement with the Office of Residence Life.

What does Woldt Residence Hall have to offer?
Woldt is a co-ed residence hall where men and women live in different suites on the same floor. The hall has four floors and contains bedroom suites shared by four students. Each room is smoke-free and includes single beds along with private bathrooms.
Woldt also contains classroom facilities as well as a computer-equipped study area. In addition, it also serves as the location of the Woldt Computer Lab, which is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The lab provides a general computing environment for all CMU students to conduct research, complete homework assignments, and carry out electronic communication. The Woldt Computer Lab contains 132 workstations (MS Windows XP and Macintosh OS X platforms available), along with three B&W laser printers, two color laser printers, and many color scanners.
