The CMU Student Chapter of The Wildlife
Society (CMU-TWS) is a student-
led organization on campus that meets weekly to offer a wide array of
wildlife- related activities and topics of discussion.
During Fall Semester 2008, meetings are
held on Wednesday nights at 5-6 pm in Anspach 151.
Generally at every meeting we try to
have a speaker come in and talk about such things as careers in wildlife,
research projects, and volunteer opportunities. From time to time, we will
also have weekend outings to do different activities related to wildlife to
better both ourselves as aspiring wildlife biologists, as well as to volunteer
our time to help someone else out on their project.
