Connect with CST

The College of Science and Technology is very proud of its students, faculty, and alumni. As part of Central Michigan University, we are also pleased with our progress as we continue to contain costs while enhancing the quality of our educational experiences.

Our mission

The mission of the college is to provide high quality education in the scientific, engineering, and technological fields and to enable its students, faculty, and staff to engage in the creation and application of knowledge. The college is committed to the values associated with the broad liberal education essential for responsible citizenship, coupled with programs of professional study that offer students the requisite training and knowledge to become successful in careers or additional studies. In all its activities, the college supports academic excellence, global awareness, equal opportunity, and diversity.

Your support is invaluable

As we look forward, there are several opportunities and major financial challenges ahead. We must continue to recruit and retain top-ranked faculty, attract the best and brightest students, keep pace with the ever-changing face of technology, and maintain high quality facilities for our teaching and research.

The alumni, benefactors, and friends are an indispensable part of our past, present, and future. Please consider joining the CMU Alumni Association as a gold member today. We thank you for your continued support.
