CMU is seeking funding for a Lake Michigan research vessel. With a new vessel and the boathouse facilities at Whiskey Point on Beaver Island, CMU will extend its applied environmental research and teaching programs throughout northern Lake Michigan, and expand its collaborations with other universities, state agencies, and nonprofit groups.
