Outstanding Teaching Awards :: Archive
Each year the College of Science and Technology recognizes exceptional professors with the CST Award for Outstanding Teaching.
Professors receive the award based on three criteria: general teaching excellence, based in part on student evaluation and outcome assessment surveys; supervision of student research or internships; and development of new instructional methods or strategies that improve student learning.
 
2000-2004 Outstanding Teaching Awards
2000: Gongzhu Hu (Computer Science) and Joe Finck (Physics)
2001: Reed Wicander (Geology) and Doug Lapp (Mathematics)
2002: Rich Fleming (Mathematics) and Alan Jackson (Physics)
2003: Estelle Lebeau (Chemistry) and Sven Morgan (Geology)
2004: Sivaram Narayan (Mathematics) and Andrzej Sieradzen (Physics)
